The State of Tourism in Shenandoah County
14 April 2020
We recorded today’s episode of Tourism Tuesday – Shenandoah County edition via Zoom with Kary Haun. You can watch the Zoom video of our conversation (including pre/post show chatter) on The Valley Today playlist on our YouTube channel here: https://youtu.be/viIaz1RDGTk
We talked about the current state of tourism in Shenandoah County, the status of many of their events and talked about what staff is doing to keep the residents of Shenandoah County informed and engaged with their tourism-related businesses.
We also talked about how Kary has been “keeping her sanity” during this working from home period by making masks for Valley Health’s Sew Helpful Community Challenge – 10,000 masks in 2 weeks campaign.
