We were in the studio for Tourism Tuesday – Front Royal/Warren County edition – with Felicia Hart, Director of Community Development & Tourism for the Town of Front Royal, and her guest, Travis Wyman, Conservation Officer & Park Ranger at Shenandoah River Raymond R. “Andy” Guest Jr. State Park. We talked about all the activity and lodging choices at the park, Travis walked us through a typical day during the winter season, plus we talked about what’s involved with maintaining the park year-round including how new trails are cut. The park is open 365 days a year. You can get more information about entrance fees, activities and make lodging reservations on their website: dcr.virginia.gov/state-parks/shenandoah-river
