The Pumpkin Patch & Corn Maze is now open through October 31st. Located at 1104 Springfield Road – 3 miles north of Luray and 18 miles south of Front Royal just off 340. Their hours of operation are Friday: 2pm – 7pm; Saturday & Sunday: 10am – 7pm. They offer hayrides every Saturday and Sunday from Noon til 5pm (weather permitting.) Time 2 Wine Tours is offering Wine, Beer & Whiskey Tours every Saturday in October beginning at 11:30am featuring specialty tours to Copper Fox Distillery, Pen Druid Brewing & Gadino Cellars. The 47th Annual Page County Heritage Festival kicks off this weekend: Saturday (10/8) & Sunday (10/9) from 10am – 5pm at Page Valley Fairgrounds. The 2-day event features local crafts and homemade goodies, Antique Tractor, Steam & Gas Engine Show; apple butter boiling by the 4H, great food, live entertainment and kids activities. Admission is $4 for adults; $1 for children.
Performing Arts Luray will offer Tuna Does Vegas on October 14-16 & October 21-23. Each of the Friday dates will feature a performance only ($15); Saturday dates will feature a Dinner Theatre ($40); and, Sunday will feature a Dessert Theatre ($20) with tickets available at Hunt & Peck, Luray Copy Service, the chamber office, Stanley Pharmacy or online at: http://www.performingartsluray.org/
The Town of Luray will host special Halloween activities on October 31st at Ralph H. Dean Recreation Park from 6pm – 9pm. Activities include a spooky inflatable hayride, 2 haunted houses (one geared for kids and one for adults), pumpkin painting, concessions, a costume contest and more.
