UWNSV: Blue Ridge Hospice
24 January 2020
Our conversation for United Way Day took place in the conference room at United Way of Northern Shenandoah Valley with Elise, their Director of Marketing & Outreach and her guest, Richard Kennedy, interim CEO for Blue Ridge Hospice.
Richard told us about the important role that the thrift stores play in the organization’s financial ability to provide many of their services. We talked about other ways they raise money and discussed some new things on the horizon for Blue Ridge Hospice such as a new website. For more details, visit them online at: blueridgehospice.org
Elise talked about the grant process for their member agencies, how the public can contribute, and gave us the details for their monthly Rubbermaid sale that happens on Saturday, January 25, 2020 from 8am – Noon in the Belk parking lot at Apple Blossom Mall.
