United Way NSV: Valley Assistance Network (VAN)
24 May 2019
We were in the studio for “United Way Day” with Elise from United Way of Northern Shenandoah Valley and Jennifer from Valley Assistance Network, a program of United Way NSV created to help families navigate community resources and create a path to financial stability.
Jennifer gave us some background on the services offered by VAN and the impact it has on the people, families and our community. We talked about a particular disabled, homeless veteran they’re trying to help with housing. If you’d like to help with this client, other clients, or volunteer, reach out to Jennifer at her office at 411 N. Cameron St. Suite 210, Located on the Our Health Campus. They’re open Monday – Thursday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Fridays by appointment only. You can call: (540) 773-3178 or email them via the website: https://www.unitedwaynsv.org/contact-us
