Camping for Hunger Day Two: DeAnna Cheatham, Warren County Social Services
13 November 2018
We were on the Camping for Hunger bus today with DeAnna Cheatham, Director of Warren County Social Services to continue our “community snapshot” series this week as we collect non-perishable food items, grocery gift cards & monetary donations for Front Royal/Warren County CCAP.
DeAnna talked about income levels, community needs and the types of services most requested by their clients. We “busted some myths” about the people they serve and got an overview of the many and varied services available through her department. We also got information about their upcoming Open House as well as their Coats for Kids program currently underway.
We also broadcast this interview via Facebook Live – where we continued to chat after the show ended on the air. You can watch the entire conversation here: https://www.facebook.com/TheRiver953/videos/1290896924385088/ or on our YouTube Channel here: https://youtu.be/zifEtZTBQ9E
