Projects Begin Today in Front Royal, May Affect Traffic
Front Royal’s Public Works Department has announced new projects that begin in town today (7/22/2019).
Front Royal’s Streets Department will begin installing security bollards today at 7 a.m. A lane closure will take place at the intersection of Main Street and Blue Ridge Avenue; crews will be working until 2 p.m., and will pour concrete which they’ll leave overnight to cure. This work will continue until Friday, July 26 at 2 p.m., and will close a lane in the area day and night until then. Public Works is also making citizens aware that it’s conducting an onsite burning project at its Manassas Avenue disposal site for chunks of wood to large to grind, beginning at 6 a.m. each day this week. It’s worked with the Warren County Fire Marshal to ensure the project is completed safely.
