Pursuit ends in capture in Warren County

Warren County Sheriff’s Special Problems and Drug Enforcement Unit Officers attempted to stop a vehicle for speeding on Stonewall Jackson Highway on Mon..

When the vehicle failed to yield a pursuit ensued which terminated at Gooney Manor Loop.

After that stop the suspects vehicle took off again driving recklessly, striking a Deputy’s vehicle.

Pursuit was re initiated to continue onto Bentonville Road where the suspect lost control and crashed.

The driver was apprehended in a creek after a short foot chase by Warren County Officers and K-9 units.

The passenger was apprehended at the crash scene.

Both the driver Garland Turner Jr. and passenger Alicia Knott are facing numerous charges including felony eluding, assault on a law enforcement officer and possession of a schedule I/II drug.

No one was injured in the incident.
