
A Quick Guide to Winchester’s July 3 Street Closures

Winchester is reminding residents of streets that will be closed to traffic for its Rockin’ Independence Eve event taking place Tuesday, July 3rd, 2018. The times and streets are as follows:
- Beginning at 3:00 pm Boscawen Street will be closed from Indian Alley to Cameron Street, Woodstock Lane from Pleasant Valley Road to East Lane will be closed westbound with only local resident traffic allowed, and East Lane will be closed from Cork to Philpot.
- Beginning at 7:30 pm, Kent Street will be closed from Boscawen Street to Piccadilly Street, and Boscawen will be closed from Cameron to East Lane, allowing local resident traffic only.
- Beginning at 9 p.m., Piccadilly Street will be closed from Cameron Street to Kent Street with no eastbound traffic permitted.
The fireworks display will begin at approximately 9:20 p.m. and all streets will reopen at the conclusion of the show once all pedestrian traffic has cleared.
