Ressie Jeffries Celebrates New Renovations

9 August 2018 News

Front Royal’s Ressie Jeffries Elementary School held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday in celebration of its newly completed renovations.

The $12 million project included improvements to the school’s playground, its floors and walls, and its central heating and cooling system. The school also received a new front entrance and 62 parking spaces. While the playground is still awaiting some changes like a split basketball court and new incoming equipment, all other renovations have been completed. Warren County Public Schools Superintendent Greg Drescher was quoted as saying that the “county’s come a long way in helping this environment for our students.”
