Rivermont Volunteer Fire Station Construction Bid Approved
8 March 2019 News
Earlier this week, the Warren County Board of supervisors approved a construction bid concerning the Rivermont Volunteer Fire Station. The new approximately 5.6 million dollar facility, will be more than 15,000 square feet and is planned to include overnight accommodations, three drive through bays as well as a community meeting room to serve as the Fork District polling station. The facility will be located at the corner of Rivermont Drive and Stokes Airport Rd.
The current building has suffered for years with mold and flood issues and two years ago the second floor was condemned for fear of collapse.
