Road work in Warren County has begun
Road closures and detours are already in progress on Happy Creek Road.
Happy Creek Road is closed from the Front Royal town limits to Dismal Hollow Road.
Dismal Hollow Road remains open from the east side of Happy Creek, Low Water Bridge, Howellsville Road approach.
New work is scheduled to begin July 5 through the 7 at the railroad crossing near Dismal Hollow Road.
During that time the railroad crossing will be impassable.
