Ongoing and Upcoming Roadwork in Front Royal

15 June 2018 News

The Town of Front Royal is warning drivers of ongoing and future roadwork.

The installation of a water line for the new Police Department site is currently resulting in a shoulder closure on Kendrick Lane from there to the IT Federal Construction Site, and will last until June 29th. Midway Avenue from Hill Street to Acton Street will also be closed until July 13th for a water line installation from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dixie Avenue will be closed for the same reason until June 29th between West 13th and West 14th Streets.

Town-wide thermoplastic applications involving crosswalks, arrows, and stop bars will be taking place on June 18th. This will result in lane shifts for a short period of time. Kendrick Lane will also be closed to traffic from Adams Avenue to Monroe Avenue on Monday, the 18th, as well. Starting on June 20th and lasting until July 27th, Bel Air Avenue will be closed from 6th street to 7th street as a new water line is installed; this work my result in intermittent water usage for residents during this time.
