Rotz Pharmacy and LFCC team up for a vaccination clinic

Rotz Pharmacy and Lord Fairfax Community College teamed up to vaccinate over 800 people at a clinic at LFCC’s Middletown Campus Friday Mar. 5.
Inclement weather prevented the Rotz Pharmacy from administering the vaccine at the pharmacy.
Jason Rotz contacted the school to let them know he had a surplus of doses.
The school was happy to open it’s facility as a makeshift clinic.
Over 70 volunteers, school staff and nursing students put together a flawless operation.
Those who had the first dose on Fri. are scheduled to return to the school for their second dose on Fri. Apr. 2.
LFCC’s Facebook page will have updates on Fri.’s clinic and the possibility of a clinic in the future.
We had a talk with Whitney Miller Director of Facility Planning and Auxiliary Services who was instrumental in putting the clinic together along with so many others.
Here is her interview.
