Route 7 Safety Audit
At the December 18th meeting of the Clarke County Board of Supervisors, a verbal request was made concerning a potential safety audit of route 7. The safety audit will be paid for out of existing county funds and has not been submitted for Smart Scale funding at this time because it is only a study. The project will focus on all aspects of safety along Route 7 such as crash history and dangerous intersections, making note of potential improvements for the future.
The study is expected to last several months and result in answers for what can be done with existing funds and indicate new options for the future.
