RSW Regional Jail reports new cases of COVID-19
Rappahannock Shenandoah Warren (RSW) Regional Jail currently has four inmates and four staff members that have tested positive for COVID-19. The jail issued a statement that all of the inmates are currently housed in one housing unit.
The jail is working with the Virginia Department of Health (VDH) and following recommendations for the proper way to monitor, treat, and test any suspected cases.
All inmates within the facility are being closely monitored. Every inmate has been provided a mask and our staff all have proper PPE. The jail says every possible precaution is being taken and the building will be thoroughly cleaned several times a day.
