SABF Announces Theme for 93rd Festival

14 November 2019 Winchester Frederick County News

November 14, 2019

WINCHESTER – The leaders of the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival have decided on a theme for the 2020 proceedings.

They decided on “Forever Apple Blossom.” It stems from a desire to have the Festival continue to last in the community for all-time. The symbolism of the theme is tied into the art used for this year’s Apple Blossom Festival. The promotional posters include an infinity helix that combines with a wreath of pink apple petals. The 2020 Shenandoah Apple Blossom promotional designs were finished by Erik Zimmerman of White Spider Inc.

The theme and promotional art were unveiled by the event runners on Wednesday. At the same time, the group introduced new Executive Director Brad Veach. Veach started his tenure on Monday, and will replace the retiring John Rosenberger.

Several of the leaders of the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival were on hand for the unveiling. President Barry Carper encouraged people to get their tickets for the festival early, as events tend to fill up quickly. Tickets are now available at the SABF headquarters at 135 N. Cameron St. in Winchester. The Festival begins on April 24, 2020 and runs until May 3.
