8 February 2019 Winchester News
The Winchester Education Foundation has announced that Sara Evans will be headlining the 10th Annual Patsy Cline Classic.
The singer has had five number one country singles, including “Born to Fly,” “Suds in the Bucket,” and “A Little Bit Stronger.” She’s been recognized for her music across the U.S., earning the prestigious Academy of Country Music Top Female Vocalist accolade and other awards. Evans also served as the Firefighters’ Marshal of the 91st Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival and headlined the fourth annual CMT Next Women of Country Tour.
Evans’ performance at the Patsy Cline Classic will benefit the Winchester Education Foundation, which funds many programs for Winchester Public Schools, provides scholarships, and is currently raising funds for the new Emil and Grace Shihadeh Innovation Center. The event will take place on April 12th at Handley High School’s Patsy Cline Theater; doors open at 7 p.m.
