SC 4-H members win state awards

Shenandoah County 4-H members win state 4-H awards.

Ethel and Geary Showman of Woodstock were awarded the Dottie Nelson Award for hosting 4-H international delegates 12 times over the years.

Jim Hepner Jr. of Maurertown received the Virginia 4-H All Star Hall of Fame Award for his service to the 4-H programs.

The Shenandoah County 4-H All Star Chapter was also recognized with the Chapter Charter Award during the virtual ceremony for their continued service to the local 4-H program.
