SCSO reports potentially dangerous man has been apprehended
Shenandoah County Emergency Communications Center reports receiving information from out of state Law Enforcement that a man of interest could be traveling through Virginia.
Details from the caller indicated that the man could have been suffering a mental health crisis.
Some of the information contained details related to possible school violence.
The information from the caller did not mention any specific school or person in the call.
The out of state law enforcers believed the man may be headed to or driving through Virginia.
Shenandoah County law enforcement and other Virginia agencies began the search for Ronald S. Johnson.
Johnson is a 55-year-old man from Athens Alabama and was later found in Prince William County and detained.
His welfare was checked, and he was found to be no threat to anyone at this time.
The information relayed to law enforcement came from Johnson’s employer.
