Search for Frederick Home Invasion Suspect Continues

28 February 2019 Frederick County News

The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office is still searching for a suspect in a home invasion and assault that took place earlier in the month, and is enlisting the public’s help.

The 24-year-old female victim of the February 7th crime heard loud banging early that morning on the front door of her Williamson Place home.  She told responding deputies that when she went downstairs to investigate the noise, an unknown African American male carrying a handgun forced his way inside and struck her several times in the face and stomach. During the assault, he told the victim that he was there to collect money that her brother owed him. The suspect is described as being 5’8” tall and weighing between 200 and 210 pounds, and the Sheriff’s Office now has a composite sketch of him (pictured right). Anyone with information is asked to call 540-662-6162.
