Second Annual Community Christmas Dinner Feeds over 400 Individuals

27 December 2016 News

On Christmas Day, Strasburg and Front Royal residents held the second annual Community Christmas Dinner. The dinner was originally designed for those in need, new to the area, those with no local family and those looking for a little Christmas spirit. The community event is always free and open to everyone. It was held at the North Warren Volunteer Fire Department from noon to 4:00pm. The volunteers served around 425 meals directly to those who went to the fire station and delivered meals as well. They were also able to provide presents to those in need. The event is always made possible through volunteers. This year included volunteers from the North Warren Fire Department and the Front Royal Fire Department.
