September is Library Card Sign-Up Month

This September, Massanutten Regional Library is joining with the American Library Association and libraries nationwide for Library Card Sign-up Month, an initiative to make sure that every student has the most important school supply of all – a free library card. Library Card Sign-up Month focuses on the value of libraries in the lives of students and a library card from Massanutten Regional Library is a great resource for everyone.
An MRL library card is free to anyone who lives, works or attends school in the city of Harrisonburg, or Rockingham or Page Counties. In addition, residents of counties and cities contiguous to Harrisonburg, Rockingham and Page are also eligible for a free MRL library cards.
Massanutten Regional Library serves the residents of the City of Harrisonburg and Rockingham and Page Counties, with branches located in Bridgewater, Broadway, Elkton, Grottoes, Harrisonburg, Luray and the town of Shenandoah. Library patrons have access to over 297,000 books, dvds, audiobooks, ebooks, online learning and research tools, and other resources. Residents can obtain a free library cards by visiting their local MRL branch.
