Shenandoah Community Foundation establishes COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund
The Shenandoah Community Foundation established a COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund for charitable organizations serving Shenandoah County. The fund offers grants to enable organizations to meet emergency needs of Shenandoah County community members who have been impacted by the pandemic. This may include assistance for food, housing, health care, transportation, day care, utilities or other life-sustaining expenses. Applications can be found on the foundation’s website.
Tax-deductible donations for the relief fund are currently being accepted as well. Checks should be made payable to Shenandoah Community Foundation and mailed to PO Box 31, Woodstock, VA 22664. Online donations can be made here.
