Shenandoah County Sheriff Running For Re-election

Shenandoah County Sheriff Timothy Carter will be running for re-election in November. Carter began his first term as Shenandoah County Sheriff in 2003; and this will be his fifth time running for the position. Sheriff Carter has indicated that he intends to continue the departments progress from previous years which has focused on a variety of departmental topics. Throughout his tenure, he has assisted with the planning and design of a new facility for his department and emergency communications center in the north end of Woodstock, as well as other projects . Carter is a graduate of the FBI national academy of law enforcement administrators which has awarded him graduate credit from the University of Virginia.
