Shenandoah County Woman Charged with Distribution of Heroin

5 July 2018 News

A Shenandoah County woman has been charged with distribution of heroin after multiple deals were observed over the course of the past few months.

29-year-old Tiffany Bowman Lopez was caught by investigators after a series of fake heroin deals were organized using a confidential informant, starting as early as January of this year. Six transactions took place overall, the last two occurring in Lopez’s home itself. Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office investigators assigned to the Northwest Virginia Regional Drug and Gang Task Force eventually gained enough information for the execution of a search warrant at that Quicksburg home; inside they found scales, drug paraphernalia and cell phones.

Lopez appeared in Shenandoah County Circuit Court on Tuesday where she stood charged with six counts of distribution of heroin and two counts of conspiracy to distribute. Her next appearance is scheduled for September 5th.
