SU Gears Up for Business Symposium
Shenandoah University is gearing up for it Business Symposium later this month.
In a Wednesday (3/13/2019) release, the school touted its two keynote speakers for the event. Entrepreneur and author Marilyn Tam is one of the world’s top leadership speakers; she has been the chief executive officer of the cosmetic company Aveda, was president of Reebok Apparel and Retail Group, and served as vice president of Nike Inc. SU’s other guest, Chris Ullman, is a four-time international whistling champion, inspirational speaker, and the author of the book “Find Your Whistle.” He has been featured in several high-profile performances, including one in the White House for President George W. Bush.
The event takes place on March 29 in Halpin-Harrison Hall’s Stimpson Auditorium, and registration runs from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. Tam will be the morning speaker, presenting from9:15 to 10:30 a.m., while Ullman will speak from12:45 to 2 p.m.
