Signal Knob FFA Advisor named National Teacher Ambassador

Signal Knob Middle School FFA Advisor Dakota Stroud was selected as a National Teacher Ambassador for the upcoming school year.

Stroud was just one of 64 teachers selected across the country representing 31 states and Puerto Rico.

The Ambassadors will serve as leaders, mentors, and trainers for over 10,000 FFA advisors in the United States.

They will also provide feedback to National FFA Leadership about the changing educational landscape from their perspective in the classroom and how it will impact FFA as a whole.

Teacher’s selected as Ambassadors gain professional development and growth through their interactions with other top teachers.

Earlier this spring, Stroud was also awarded the “Teachers Turn the Key” scholarship by the Virginia Association of Agricultural Educators to continue his growth in the field.
