SPCA launches virtual art show

15 April 2020 Covid19 Winchester Frederick County Clarke County News

The SPCA of Winchester, Frederick and Clarke counties is introducing a fun art project for animal lovers of all ages to stay busy during this time of isolation.

At the SPCA, they understand the unconditional companionship of a pet is vital during times of uncertainty and crisis. They believe that every family deserves a pet and every pet deserves a family and that pet is a “pet for life”.

Community members are invited to draw a picture of their lifetime pet, write the pet’s name on the picture and send it in to the SPCA. Pictures can be submitted via Facebook Messenger, email at director@winchesterspca or mail at 111 Featherbed Lane Winchester, VA 22601. The SPCA will be posting the “pet for life” pictures on social media for everyone to see and celebrate.

The virtual art show will run until April 30.
