Cavaliers Set For ACC Title Game, Bears Drop Cowboys, SU B-Ball

It’s Championship Week in college football, as the Virginia Cavaliers take on the tall task of defeating Clemson tomorrow night at 7:30. UVA, champions of the Coastal Division, are 28 point underdogs against a Clemson team trying to secure it’s spot in the College Football Playoff.

The Chicago Bears beat the Dallas Cowboys last night in the NFL Thursday Night game, 31-24. The Bears dominated most of the contest after Dallas went on an opening 17-play drive for the game’s first score. Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky accounted for 4 touchdowns, as Chicago improved to 7-6. Despite falling to 6-7, Dallas still leads the NFC East.

On the Shenandoah University sports scene, Men’s Hoop heads to Hampden-Sydney tomorrow afternoon for an ODAC contest. Air time is 1:40 on The River 95-3. The Hornets are 3-3 overall.

The 4-2 SU Women will be at home against Roanoke for a 2pm tip off at The Wilkins Center.

And, the Washington Capitals continue their west coast trip with a 10 pm skate against the Anaheim Ducks tonight. The Caps have won 5 in a row. Air time is 9:45pm on CBS Sports Radio 1450.
