Five different Washington Capitals scored goals last night on the way to a 5-2 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins. Next up for Washington, a 1pm skate in New Jersey tomorrow. Air time is 12:45 on The River 95-3.

A 3-pointer with just 12 seconds left was the difference in a 69-68 heartbreaking loss for Shenandoah University Women’s Basketball last night at W&L. The Hornets had several chances to win in the final seconds, but fell short against the 4-1 Generals. Madisen Kimble led the way with 19 for SU.
