Caps March Over Penguins, SU Women Nipped By Late 3, Weekend Sked

Tom Wilson’s power play tally with 12:40 to play proved to be the game-winner as the Caps improved to 10-5-4, and are now tied for first in the NHL’s Eastern Division. A 3-pointer with just 12 seconds left was the difference in a 69-68 heartbreaking loss for Shenandoah University Women’s Basketball last night at W&L. The Hornets had several chances to win in the final seconds, but fell short against the 4-1 Generals. Madisen Kimble led the way with 19 for SU.
