SU Football Tonight, Caps Prevail, NCAA Tourney Resumes This Weekend
On the Shenandoah University scoreboard, undefeated Washington & Lee shut out the Hornets 2-0 in Women’s Soccer.
Tonight, SU Football plays at Bridgewater at 7. Men’s Tennis and Field Hockey are also in action today, while a full slate of activities is scheduled for tomorrow, including Track & Field, Softball, and Baseball.
The Washington Capitals were back on the ice for the first time in 4 nights, and won a back-and-forth contest against New Jersey 4-3. The Caps got 2 goals from Evgeny Kuznetzov, including the game-winner in the third period, as Washington improved to 21-7-4. Alex Ovechkin also scored for the Caps, who take on the Devils again tonight. Air time is 6:45 on The River 95-3.
And. we’re down to the Sweet Sixteen in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, which resumes this weekend. 3 number-one seeds, Michigan, Baylor, and Gonzaga, still remain. 4 double-digit seeds are still alive, including 15-seed Oral Roberts.
