The Shenandoah University Hornets travel to Ferrum tomorrow for an ODAC football matchup. Head Coach Scott Yoder talks about how his team’s sense of urgency will be key in getting win number 5 (YODR1).
Air time tomorrow from Adams Stadium is 12:30 on The River 95-3.
The SU Cross Country team will compete tomorrow in the ODAC Championships in Salem. Volleyball and Field Hockey will also be in action.
The Washington Nationals returned home last night to Dulles Airport with their World Series Championship trophy on board. The team will be honored with a parade in DC tomorrow at 2. Metro has cancelled some track work tomorrow to accomodate fans wanting to attend the festivities.
In college football last night, WVU fell to number-12 Baylor 17-14. The Mountaineers are now 3-5 on the season, while Baylor stays unbeaten at 8-0. This weekend:
Virginia Tech plays at number-16 Notre Dame at 2:30
Virginia travels to North Carolina for a 7:30 kickoff
and JMU is off
The NFL weekend began last night as San Francisco stayed undefeated with a 28-14 win against Arizona.
And, the Capitals return home from a 4-0-1 road trip to take on Buffalo tonight at 7pm.
