WTF Routs Dallas, Ravens -Steelers PPD Again?, WVU Goes For 3-0 Start
Antonio Gibson rushed for 115 yards and 3 TDs, as the Washington Football Team crushed Dallas 41-16 yesterday. Washington put the game on ice with 21 fourth quarter points as they improved to 4-7, good for first place in the NFC East. The Cowboys fell to 3-8 with the loss.
Earlier in the day, Deshaun Watson threw 4 TD passes, as Houston outscored Detroit 41-25. 2 of Watson’s scoring tosses were to Will Fuller, who racked up 171 receiving yards on the afternoon. Both teams are now 4-7.
The Thanksgiving night game between Baltimore and Pittsburgh was moved to Sunday earlier in the week, and may now be postponed again. With reports that Raven’s QB Lamar Jackson has tested positive for COVID-19, and that Baltimore’s practice facility will be closed until at least Monday, the NFL may move the game again.
In college basketball, WVU advanced to today’s championship game of the Crossover Classic with a 78-66 win yesterday over VCU. The Mountaineers will take on Western Kentucky today at 1:30. Number-4 Virginia will host San Francisco at 11:30 this morning.
In college football, 8-1 Liberty takes on UMass today at noon, while Virginia plays Florida State tomorrow night at 8.
