The Shenandoah University Hornets travel to Ashland tomorrow to take on ODAC-leading Randolph-Macon. Coach Scott Yoder talks about what it will take to beat the Yellow Jackets: (YODR1). The Hornets are 3-1 overall, and 2-1 in the league. Air time is 12:30 on the River 95-3.

The Washington Nationals take on the St. Louis Cardinals tonight in Game 1 of the NLCS. It’s the first-ever appearance by the Nats in the league championship series. Washington will send Anibal Sanchez to the mound for the opener of the best-of-seven series. Air time is 7:30 on Sports Radio 1450.
The Washington Capitals suffered their first regulation loss of the season last night, dropping a 6-5 decision to Nashville. The Caps, now 2-1-2, skate at Dallas tomorrow night at 8.
And, The Washington Mystics are the WNBA Champs after an 89-78 Game 5 win over Connecticut last night in the Finals. It’s the first WNBA crown for the Mystics, who outscored the Sun 27-14 in the final period to capture the title.
