David Price hurled 6 scoreless innings for the Sox, who won the best-of-seven series 4 games to 1. They await the winner of the NLCS between the Dodgers and Brewers. Game 6 of that series is tonight in Milwaukee. LA leads 3 games to 2.
The Washington Wizards dropped their NBA season-opener last night in DC, 113-112 to the Miami Heat. John Wall led the Wizards with 26.
