Eagles Get Comeback Win Over G-Men, WS Resumes Tonight, College Sked
Carson Wentz threw for 359 yards as the Philadelphia Eagles beat the New York Giants in the NFL Thursday Night game 22-21. The Eagles came from 11 points down with under 7 minutes to play. Wentz hit Boston Scott with the game-winning TD pass with just 40 seconds left, as Philly improved to 2-4-1. The Giants fell to 1-6.
This Sunday in the NFL:
The Washington Football Team hosts Dallas at 1
The Baltimore Ravens have Sunday off
And the Seattle-Arizona game has been moved to Sunday night.
The World Series resumes tonight at the Texas Rangers new stadium. The Dodgers take on the Rays in pivotal Game 3, with the Fall Classic tied at a game apiece. The first two games have drawn record-low ratings.
In college football Saturday:
#19 Virginia Tech plays at Wake Forest. Kickoff is at 3:30.
The Virginia Cavaliers will be in Miami for an 8pm kickoff.
And 3-1 WVU is on the road at Texas Tech at 5:30.
And, the NHL has canceled it’s Winter Classic, which was set for January 1st, because of coronavirus concerns. The league is still planning on starting it’s new season around New Year’s Day.
