Mets Nip Nationals, O’s Rout Red Sox, Fins Finish Off Jags
The New York Mets shaded the Washington Nationals last night 3-2. Patrick Corbin gave up 3 runs and 10 hits in seven innings in his final start this season for Washington. Josh Harrison had a 2-for-2 night for the Nats, who take on the Mets again tonight starting at 5:35 on CBS Sports Radio 1450. The Nationals wrap up the season on Sunday.
The Baltimore Orioles routed the Boston Red Sox 13-1 last night. 4 Players had 3 hits each for the Birds, who unleashed an 18-hit attack on Boston. The Orioles wrap up their season this weekend against the Toronto Blue Jays. Game time tonight is 6:37.
Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 18 of 20 passes for 160 yards and 2 touchdowns in a 31-13 Miami victory over Jacksonville in the Thursday night NFL game. The 37 year-old Fitzpatrick also ran for a third score as the Dolphins improved to 1-2. Jacksonville fell to 1-2 on the season.
