Berger Wins PGA Event, MLB UPdate, Hamlin Takes Checkered Flag
Daniel Berger won the Charles Schwab Challenge at the Colonial Golf Course in Fort Worth, Texas yesterday. Berger needed an extra playoff hole to defeat Collin Morikawa in the PGA Tour’s first event since it’s coronavirus shutdown. There were no fans at the event.
The MLB Players’ Union has rejected the league’s latest proposal for a shortened season, and instead of continuing the back-and-forth with the league, it’s asked MLB to set a schedule. Money has been the major stumbling block in the negotiations.
