Skins Shopping Dunbar, Nats Fan Can Relive 2019, Olympic Update
The Washington Redskins are reportedly making Quinton Dunbar available in a trade, according to Pro Football Talk. Dunbar was the ‘Skins best cornerback in 2019, with 37 tackles and 4 interceptions in 11 games. The move would free up $3.4 million in 2020 salary cap space. The 28-year old Dunbar has been active on Twitter, thanking fans for his time in DC.
Meanwhile, Washington Nationals fans can cure their Nats withdrawal until the MLB season gets underway. MLB TV’s archives will be made available for free for a limited time. Fans can re-watch over 4800 games from 2018 and 2019, including the playoffs.
In a Friday conference call with the media, Nationals GM Mike Rizzo said that so far, none of the Nats players have tested positive for the coronavirus. 13 players remain at the team’s training facility in West Palm Beach, 3 have returned to DC, while the rest have gone to their homes.
And, Australia and Canada have announced they will not send athletes to the 2020 Summer Games in Japan due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Both countries’ olympic committees are also calling for a postponement of the Games until 2021. The IOC said it was considering a postponement, but not a complete cancellation of the Olympics.
