WFT Crushed By Rams, Ravens Stop Lowly Bengals, MLB LCS Update
The Washington Football Team gave up 30-plus points for the fourth straight week in a 30-10 loss to the LA Rams at a soggy Fed-Ex Field.
Washington starting QB Kyle Allen was knocked out of the contest in the second quarter, making way for Alex Smith, who played in an NFL game for the first time in almost 2 years. Jared Goff threw for 309 yards for the 4-1 Rams, and the LA defense held the WFT to just 108 yards of total offense. Washington will now face the Giants Sunday at 1.
The Baltimore Ravens improved to 4-1 with a 27-3 win over the lowly Bengals. Lamar Jackson threw for 180 yards and 2 scores in the win.

The Cowboys outlasted the Giants 37-34. Cowboy QB Dak Prescott left the contest with a compound fracture and dislocation of the ankle.
The Steelers outscored the Eagles 38-29.
The Raiders dealt the Chiefs their first loss, 40-24
5-0 Seattle nipped Minnesota in the Sunday Night Game 27-26
Tonight the Saints take on the Chargers in the Monday Night Game.
Denver-New England scheduled for 5pm has been postponed due to a Patriots’ positive coronavirus test.

The Rays beat the Astros 2-1 in Game 1 of the ALCS.
The Braves and Dodgers meet in Game 1 of the NLCS tonight at 8:08
Tampa Bay plays Houston in Game 2 of the ALCS today at 4:07
The LA Lakers defeated the Miami Heat 106-93 to win their 17th NBA Championship. LeBron James was named Finals MVP.
And, Rafael Nadal defeated Novak Djokovic in straight sets to win the French Open men’s title. It was Nadal’s 20th Grand Slam title, tying him with Roger Federer for first on that list.
