WFT Stuns The Eagles, Ravens Roll, Scherzer Runs Out Of Gas Vs Braves
The Washington Football Team opened their 2020 NFL season by scoring 27 unanswered points to stun Philadelphia 27-17 yesterday at an empty Fed-Ex Field. The Washington defense recorded 8 sacks and 2 interceptions against Eagle QB Carson Wentz, as the burgundy and gold came back from an early 17-0 deficit for the NFC East victory. The WFT will now head to Arizona Sunday for a 4pm kickoff.

Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens rolled to a 38-6 win over the Cleveland Browns. Jackson tossed 3 TD passes, while the Ravens’ defense held Baker Mayfield to just 21 of 39 on the day.
Tom Brady threw 2 interceptions, including a pick-six, in his debut for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a 34-23 loss to Drew Brees and the Saints.
And, The Rams held off the cowboys in the Sunday Night game, 20-17.

Max Scherzer and the Washington Nationals ran out of gas in an 8-4 loss to the Braves yesterday. The Nats blew a 4-2 lead as Scherzer gave up 2 two-run homers in the 6th inning. Washington, now 17-28,
has today off before starting a series in Tampa tomorrow. Air time is 6:10 on CBS Sports Radio 1450.
