SU Update, Nats Pound Phillies, Caps Begin Stanley Cup Defense
Shenandoah University baseball scored 13 runs in the first 3 innings and cruised to a 16-3 rout at Dickinson yesterday. The Hornets pounded out 18 hits in the win as they improve to 16-9 on the season.

Softball swept Christendom 13-0 and 12-0
Women’s lacrosse routed Bridgewater 16-5
and Hampden-Sydney beat men’s lacrosse 15-8

The Washington Nationals got 4 RBI’s from Matt Adams, and 3 hits apiece from Adam Eaton and Brian Dozier in a 15-1 rout of the Philadelphia Phillies last night. Jeremy Hellickson threw 6 shutout innings for the Nats, who took 2 of 3 in Philadelphia and improved to 6-5 on the season. The Nationals have the day off today before entertaining Pittsburgh Friday at 6:35 on Sports Radio 1450.
Meanwhile the Baltimore Orioles continued to slide, losing to Oakland last night 10-3. The two teams wrap up the series this afternoon at 12:35 at Camden Yards.
It’s day one of golf’s first major, The Masters, at Augusta National.
Patrick Reed is the defending champion, with Rory McIlroy the favorite to win the famed green jacket. The River 95-3 has updates starting today after 2, courtesy of Rock Harbor Golf Course, and Mike O’Dell of Edward Jones Investments.
