More Redskins Moves, Re-live Game 7 Today, Washington State DB Dies
The Washington Redskins continue to stay busy despite the coronavirus pandemic. Yesterday, the ‘Skins reached an agreement with former Giants wide receiver Cody Latimer, according to Mike Garafolo of NFL Media. The 27 year-old Latimer played in 15 games with New York last season, hauling in 24 passes for 300 yards and 2 touchdowns. Latimer was a second round pick by Denver in 2014.
The team also added another offensive lineman in free agency, as Jeremy Vujnovich signed a 1-year deal. His former teams include the Packers, Colts, and Cardinals.
Major League Baseball is presenting Opening Day At Home today, on what would have been Opening Day, with a full schedule of 30 games broadcast nationally across various platforms. And, Washington State defensive back Bryce Beekman has died at the age of 22. According to a Spokane newspaper, police responded to a call at his apartment about a person who was having breathing problems. Beekman was dead when help arrived. A cause of death has not been determined.
