Dodgers Rout Braves, Astros Stay Alive, NFL Cancels Pro Bowl
In the MLB Playoffs:
The Dodgers clubbed the Braves 15-3 in the NLCS. Atlanta still leads 2 games-to-1.
The Astros stayed alive in the ALCS with a 4-3 win over Tampa Bay. The Rays still hold a 3-1 series lead.
Both League Championship series resume today. The Rays take on the Astros at 5:05, while the Braves & Dodgers meet at 8:08.
There is no NFL Thursday Night game this week. The league yesterday canceled the Pro Bowl, saying it needs the scheduling flexibility in case of coronavirus postponements. The annual all-star game had been scheduled for January 31st in Las Vegas.
In college football:
Alabama coach Nick Saban has tested positive for the coronavirus, as has Crimson Tide AD Greg Byrne. The 68 year-old Saban went home to isolate and said he has had no symptoms as of yesterday evening.
And Saturday’s game between Florida and LSU has been postponed until December due to Florida’s coronavirus outbreak.
