The Washington Nationals’ game with the Philadelphia Phillies last night in DC was postponed due to a line of storms that moved through the Nation’s Capital. That game will be made up as part of a day-night doubleheader tomorrow, starting at 1:05. The two teams will play tonight, weather permitting. Patrick Corbin takes the hill for the Nats, while Jake Arrieta gets the ball for the Phils. Air time is 6:35 on Sports Radio 1450.

The Baltimore Orioles started a west coast road trip last night with a 3-2 loss to Oakland. A 2-run error in the third spelled doom for the Birds, who managed only 3 hits against A’s pitching. The two teams meet again tonight at 10:07.

And, as reported yesterday, 3 members of the Washington Redskins will serve as Grand Marshals in Middletown’s July 4th Parade. Linebackers Ryan Anderson and Shaun Dion Hamilton, along with former ‘Skins receiver Santana Moss will ride in the parade at 5, highlighting a full day of activities in Middletown.
