Olympics Postponed, Skins Get Allen In Trade,
The 2020 Summer Olympic games have been postponed, probably until sometime in 2021. That’s according to an IOC member, who spoke to the USA Today. The committee has not formally confirmed the postponement,
but said the details of the impact of the coronavirus on the Olympics will be worked out over the next few weeks.
The Washington Redskins have made a trade with the Carolina Panthers for quarterback Kyle Allen in exchange for a fifth-round pick. Allen is an undrafted 2018 free agent who is familiar with the system of new ‘Skins offensive coordinator Scott Turner.
In another move from Ashburn, the redskins have traded cornerback Quinton Dunbar to the Seahawks for a fifth-round pick. Dunbar was in the final year of his contract with the ‘Skins, and the move frees up about $3.4 million in salary cap space for Washington.
And, Peyton Manning has turned down a job as a regular commentator on ESPN’s Monday Night Football, according to the New York Post. He’s turned down multiple broadcasting offers since retiring from the game in 2016.
