Agostino Named ODAC POW, Nats Force Game 5, Caps On Ice Tonight
Shenandoah University quarterback Ben Agostino was named ODAC Player Of The Week in selections named by the league Sunday. The junior signal caller led the Hornets to a 42-14 win over Southern virginia last week by completing 36 of 44 passes for 509 yards and 6 touchdown passes. The 509 yards through the air is a league-best this season and third best total in program history. The Hornets play at Randolph Macon this Saturday starting at 12:30 on The River 95-3.
Today at SU, volleyball hosts Ferrum at 7pm.
The Washington Nationals have forced a deciding Game 5 in their National League Division Series with a 6-1 win over the Dodgers last night. Max Scherzer pitched 7 innings of 4-hit baseball and Ryan Zimmerman broke the game open with a 3-run homer in the 5th to lead the Nats. Anthony Rendon drove in 2 runs with a pair of sacrifice flies for the Nationals, who now head back to LA for Wednesday’s contest. Air time is 8pm on Sports Radio 1450.

And the Washington Capitals are back on the ice tonight when they host the Dallas Stars. The Caps are off to a 2-0-1 start, good for second place in the NHL’s Metro Division. Air time tonight is 6:45 on Sports Radio 1450.
