All action was washed out last night in the Valley Baseball League. Among the games tonight, Front Royal hosts Woodstock; Winchester travels to Harrisonburg; and Strasburg heads to Waynesboro.

The Washington Capitals will try to take a commanding three games to one lead in the NHL Stanley Cup Final tonight as they host the Vegas Golden Knights. The Caps won game three in dominating fashion on Saturday night 3-1. As Alex Ovechkin scored a goal and Braden Holtby once again stood tall in goal. The puck drops tonight at 8pm on our sister station, Sports Radio 1450.

Not a good weekend for the Nats, who struggled to score runs and lost 3 of 4 to the Braves. Yesterday, the Braves walked off the Nationals in a 4-2 defeat. Tanner Roark pressed into relief duty, took the loss. The Nats who are 1.5 games back of Atlanta in the NL East are off today before starting a 2-game series against Tampa Bay on Tuesday. Air time tomorrow is 6:30pm on our sister station, Sports Radio 1450.

The Orioles and Yankees were postponed yesterday. The Yanks defeated the Birds on Friday and Saturday, as Baltimore falls to 17-41 on the season. Baltimore will head to New York on Tuesday to take on the Mets.

Martin Truex Jr. held off all the challengers during a series of late race restarts yesterday to win the Pocono 400 NASCAR event.

The Golden State Warriors took a 2-game to none lead in the NBA Final with a 122-103 triumph over Cleveland last night. Stephen Curry hit nine 3-pointers for the victors.
