The Washington Capitals are one win away from their first ever Stanley Cup Championship after a 6-2 win over Vegas Golden Knights last night in DC. Six different Caps scored a goal. Evgeny Kuznetsov had four assists as Washington took a commanding three games to one lead in the best of seven series. The Capitals can take home the cup with a win Thursday night in Vegas. The puck drops at 8pm on our sister station, Sports Radio 1450.
The Nationals are back in action tonight as they start a 2-game series with the Tampa Bay Rays. The Nats start tonight’s play just a game back of the Braves in the NL East. Max Scherzer takes the hill for Washington. Coverage begins at 6:30pm on our sister station, Sports Radio 1450.
The Philadelphia Eagles scheduled to visit the White House today has been scrubbed. The President called off the visit citing the anthem protests, although it’s been reported that fewer than 10 players had planned to attend.
